1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing and using Budo Notebook ("the Service"), you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
Budo Notebook is a web application designed for Aikido practitioners to:
- Track their training progress and exam programs
- Create and manage personal notes about techniques
- Connect with their dojo community
- Share insights with trainers and peers
3. User Accounts
To use the Service, you must:
- Be at least 16 years of age
- Provide accurate and complete registration information
- Maintain the security of your account credentials
- Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
4. User Content
You retain ownership of any content you create on the Service (notes, comments, etc.). By posting content, you grant us a limited license to display that content to other users according to your sharing preferences.
You agree not to post content that:
- Is illegal, harmful, or violates others' rights
- Contains spam or malicious content
- Infringes on intellectual property rights
- Harasses or discriminates against others
5. Spirit of Budo
In the spirit of Budo and the teachings of O-Sensei, we expect all users to treat each other with respect, humility, and courtesy. The martial arts community is built on mutual respect and continuous self-improvement.
6. Privacy
Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, use, and protect your personal data in compliance with GDPR and other applicable regulations.
7. Intellectual Property
The Service, including its design, code, and content (excluding user content), is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the Service without permission.
8. Limitation of Liability
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.
9. Account Termination
You may delete your account at any time through the My Data settings. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms of Service.
10. Governing Law
These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the European Union and the Republic of Croatia. Any disputes shall be resolved in the competent courts of Croatia.
11. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Significant changes will be communicated to users via email or through the Service. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
